Now that you have your input device and switch kit, test it out with some games!

Our open-source Scratch game library supports a variety of switch access skills, including cause-and-effect, two-switch control, scanning, communication, and sensory exploration. Games can be customized to meet individual accessibility needs, including visual contrast, colors, sounds, and timing.

Dancing Bluey

Category: Momentary

Purpose: Practice cause-and-effect by activating a switch to make Bluey dance and play music.
Controls: Effect for the duration of **spacebar** press.

Popping Bubbles

Category: Single switch

Purpose: Practice cause-and-effect and visual attention by creating and popping bubbles.
Controls: Use the spacebar or tap the game screen to make a bubble appear.

Truck Stop and Go

Category: Two switches

Purpose: Practice controlling two different actions with two separate switches.
Controls: Left arrow starts the truck. Right arrow stops the truck.

Piano

Category: Multiple switch

Purpose: Explore sounds and music-making through switch activation.
Controls: Use all four arrow keys, space bar, and mouse click to play the piano.

Bluey's Family Communication Board

Category: Multiple switches

Purpose: An example of a communication board that can be created with Bluey's family tree.
Controls: Touch characters or use right arrow for dad, up arrow for mom, and right arrow for sister.

Hatch the Eggs

Category: Scanning

Purpose: Practice automatic scanning, timing, and selection skills.
Controls: Press the spacebar or touch the screen when the selector reaches the desired egg.

Cause-and-effect activities
